AirAsia Berhad is one of the airlines which based Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). AirAsia was established in 1993 and started first flight in November, 1996 in Malaysia. As we know, E-Commerce had a many types such as Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Customer (B2C), etc. In E-Commerce, AirAsia belong in B2C because that company tries to sell they service for customer directly. AirAsia has progressively launched value added services into the flight options. In 2007, AirAsia introduced the web check-in. This made AirAsia the first airline in Malaysia to offer the ability to check in online and print out boarding passes. It is now available for many countries domestic travel only and for those with no check-in baggage. One year ago (until now), a service named "Xpress Boarding" has been launched. That’s new service enable passengers to get priority boarding with minimum fee. Beside that, this service enables the passengers to get a low price and choose seats at ease. After launching web check in and kiosk check-in, AirAsia will later introduce PDA check-in.

Based on information above, in Indonesia, we can book or buy ticket pass from internet because AirAsia had a new service so customer can book or buy pass the internet. But if we want to buy ticket through internet, we must book far the day before our flight because this flight usually full. The transaction with AirAsia through internet or website is very secure because they use a high standard encryption mode to guarantee that customer transaction is secure and save. The first thing if we want to book or buy ticket through the internet, we have to open they site in www.airasia.com and let’s find an ‘Online Booking’. After we get inside to the service, we can see the route which opened by AirAsia and choose the destination and time for that flight. After that, the customer must to give our real data and fill the booking form that consists likes name, address, phone number, gender, e-mail address, etc. After we finish fill our data and click the ‘Continue’, we can see about the payment. But there is not a final for our transaction. We have to pay the purchasing cost. AirAsia accept payment with credit card, debit, E-Gift Voucher. With credit card they accept Mastercard and Visa. In debit payment, they just corporate with Mandiri Bank (in Indonesia). Then, we must to fill data about our credit card if we pay with credit card. This company accepts payment with credit card. We just write our credit card number and they guarantee if our number confidential. Beside that, payment in this site is can counted Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). After pay the cost, we have to confirm the transfer to AirAsia.com from phone or e-mail. Our transaction finish and ‘OK’ after we confirm back for our payment. There’s had a different if we check-in directly at the airport and if we check-in through the internet. Usually if we check-in directly at the airport we get a seat number, but if we check-in through AirAsia.com we didn’t get a seat number so the customer can choose any seat in plane.
