About kaskus
Kaskus is one of the Indonesian sites that has forum facility on it, and Kaskus has been claimed that it was the largest forum in Indonesia, and it was not a joke, Kaskus has prove it, and we can also see from the member of Kaskus’es forum, I think that is the biggest number of member of forums in Indonesia, Kaskus held on 6 November 2000 by 3 young boy from Indonesia which continue to studying at Seattle, Kaskus is sort of Kasak Kusuk and it started by hobby but then enlarge until now, but we do not discuss about that. Sellers
At FJB the sellers just need to have goods at their warehouse then create a new thread which content is about information about theirs goods, and it will be better to give the thread’s name about what goods are sold, because buyer will see the title of the thread first before he visit the thread, and that’s why seller have to give a clear title to give a good information to buyer for what is sold by seller. And thread is simply like virtual stall for the seller, they can show to buyers what they sold, by showing information like photo of the item, price, etc.
Buyers
At FJB the buyers can look around about what goods are sold at this FJB by read at thread’s title, then if they already choose what they want to buy, they have to obey the regulation that sellers made, usually they have to sent the seller a message via cellphone or via e-mail about what item they want to buy, then if the goods are ready on stock then buyer have to obey the regulation made by seller, like buyer have to pay first, pay the transport fee, etc. but because all regulation are depend on seller made. So it is possible to every thread (stall) has a different regulation.
System
The system of this trade is depend on sellers regulation, but the regulation are usually like buyer have to message by SMS or e-mail for asking if the item is on ready stock, then if they deal, buyer have to pay first via ATM (Automatic Teller Machine), then if the seller accept the money from the buyer then seller will send the goods to buyer. That is why this trades are depend on the trust, so buyer have to be more careful when choosing seller, usually buyer on the Kaskus choose seller who has been know well member and has so many post count. But we do not have to believe 100% to this information, because it is not 100% guaranty that the seller will not cheat. So for your safety please do not do high price trade that can make you bankrupt. This system was succeed because both of seller and buyer have advantage from this system. The seller got advantage because they do not have to build stall with amount of money, they just need computer and Internet connection, and they don’t need to pay any tax. The buyer got advantage from the buyer do not have to go outside to look around the goods on shop, and usually seller sold goods cheaper than the goods at the shop usually.
